Photography Styles
Crop and patch
For this style of photography I patch a photo with different contrast and exposure settings. I also outline these patches with a hand drawn line. In the future I want to use home-made pinhole lenses to capture a parallel version of the photo and use that to patch the photo.
Black and White Landscapes
This style is used to capture the light in vast landscapes. By removing color I bring focus to the interaction of light with the objects in the photo.
Color Photography
In this style I use color photos to express how I see the world. It consist of lines, surfaces and color. With as less as possible details.

Roel Hoek is an abstract photographer with a passion for capturing the unseen beauty in everyday life. With a keen eye for detail and a love for creative composition he strive to creates images that provoke thought and evoke emotions.
Over the years he honed his skills and developed a unique style that blends minimalism with artistic expression. His work has been featured some local exhibitions, and he continue to push the boundaries of abstract photography and photography techniques.
